Two Guineas, One Vision….

The Story Behind the Tomato. It started over a cup of coffee and some biscotti – a Sunday afternoon (a little over a year ago). Katie and I were eating/chatting at my kitchen table when the subject came up… God, we know so much about food, restaurants/deli’s, where to buy the best cut of eye-round, etc. – we should share our knowledge with others so they too can indulge in “the best of the best” food and beverage wise. We felt a blog would be the appropriate forum to do this. Katie and I had grand plans of photoshoots, benefit events and launch parties (we still do) but at the time it was all just tomato talk. One thing led to another and both of us got pretty busy with life, work, and food. A month ago I emailed Katie about the blog and we decided to “get it up” in a simple form. “Lets get the meatball in the frying pan for Christ’s sake”. And here we are…
