F150XL

Here’s a recap of the best instagrams of last week. If you want the day to day follow me here! We bought a pickup! I’m ashamed to say I doubted the idea at first. Not only is it good for collecting wood and other large things. You can hangout in it too, and maybe even this?!  Meet The DUKE. 1995 Ford 150 XL. I had to buy these radishes at Key Food because they just looked so pretty. Edible roots, yah!! One regret of the summer… not eating at Caracas until […]

camping-fire

Here’s a recap of the best instagrams of last week. If you want the day to day follow me here! I spent most of last week at Lake George Great Escape with my sisters, nephews and nieces. It was so much fun! The campground is great for kids. There are lots of activities, a pool, and swimming lakes. There’s a restaurant/bar for the adults and golf carts! We visited the village of Lake George which has even more to do. We made a stop at  Fort William Henry and took a steam boat ride on the lake.  Matt […]

The rain didn’t hamper the Beach 91st street block party. Wow, it was a crazy party. Above is Matt and Grill Master good […]

south-ozone-park

Here’s a recap of the best instagrams of last week. If you want the day to day follow me here! I wrote about my cat in The Wave this week. Is that nepotism? Yellow woodsorrel (Oxalis stricta) is labeled a weed but it’s beautiful. I’m letting it grow in my garden. And it’s edible: All parts of the plant are edible, with a distinct tangy flavor (common to all plants in the genus Oxalis). However, it should only be eaten in small quantities, since oxalic acid can bind up the body’s supply of […]
