Mike Honan Honored for his Work with Veterans

Congratulations to Mike Honan, Husband of Fran, Father to Katie and Roseanne and my friend. His work with Veterans was honored yesterday at City Hall. Mike was presented with a proclamation for his service from Eric Ulrich and other local officials.
Mike Honan has worked with an organization to properly bury indigent veterans, riding in the hearse with a stranger’s remains and taking the flag home in their memory.
He’s worked with our friends to help beautify Memorial Circle, a park that honors locals killed in wars.
If that wasn’t enough, Mike for months has tirelessly been organizing a parade for WWII veterans, securing antique cars so they can ride along the route like celebrities.
